It looks fun :P Thanks Linus!!
Do you have the session every Sunday, I mean EVERY Sunday?
    What’s the time? 4 pm?

  4. Linus says:

Hi Jane! Exercise is on every Sunday! During the last two weeks, these were moved to Saturday due to the holdays. From this Sunday, same time & place, they’re on again! New opportunities also mid-week & on Saturday!

Once weather gets too cold, we’ll continue the sweats & smiles inside. Stay posted at http://www.heyrobics.com for updates on all sessions & changes, and/or sign up for the newsletter at the website or by dropping a line to info@heyrobics.com!

    Best/Linus

Hi there — I saw the posts on thebeijinger.com. I’m moving to Beijing in early November, but I’m not that excited because I’ve heard that running outside is still terrible because of the pollution. :( I’m a somewhat-competitive distance runner (e.g., 43-44minute 10k; < 1:40 for 21K; 3:30 for marathon). I also sometimes do triathlons, so I have a very very high endurance level! Do you have options for someone like me? I don't want to be bored….
    thanks :-)

    • Hey Amanda!

Drop a line to the info@ mail to get in touch with us. We’re doing collaborations with Li-Ning, and have during the fall trained 100 runners for the Beijing Marathon, as well as hosted a lot of morning runs in smaller scale. The training will continue during the winter in various forms, so stay in touch with us!

Best/The Heyrobics Team (of which most of us are a fairly competitive marathon runners!)

Hi, i met hampus in LiNing iRun event, and got to know Heyrobics the first time. I am a runner, precisely, a leader of a running club and organizor of some running events. warming up and cool down are of meterial important for running, but easily be forgotten in China.
    “Heyrobics”是一种在瑞典国内十分流行的有氧健康操,它由瑞典著名体操教练Johan Holmsater于1978年发明,在瑞典已风靡了30多年。“Heyrobics”不用借助任何器械,简单易学,跳操者跟随音乐节拍舞动,用最自然的方式来塑形和健身,老少皆宜。
I got some Chinese info of heyrobics, it’s a cool way to warm ur body, I wonder if I can got some video to learn this, ’cause I mostly live in Shanghai, being unable to attend ur activities.
and if u need some help of the language or propagation in China especially through website, just contact me, hampus has my No. and i’ d be glad to help.

    • Hi Angeline!

    2. How much time approximately?
    3. Is it free?

    Thanks!!!

    • Wohoa Sally!
Your wish is our law, or, yeah, you know. With new locations opening this and next week (SHUNYIi & LIDO!!!), plus a whole bunch of fresh instructors with all kinds of weird accents in training this month, we hope to have Heyrobics going all throughout the weeks quite soon!

And Hey Sally!, send us an e-mail (to jennie.olsson (at) heyrobics.com) with the days, location and times that suits YOU the best! Maybe just maybe we can work that into the schedule too in the future.

      Catch you out there!

    Hi runners,

I am a newcomer to Beijing. I love running and I have already did my halfmarathon training in Chaoyang park few times.

I wonder do you organise any group running? Where to go when there is too much smog outside? I’ve started to search for some indoor place as I don’t really want to destroy my lungs. My Chinese is still not good enough to ask the locals about the gym at my place. I also want to meet new people who has the passion for running.

    Run with you soon

    Lukas

    • Hey Lukas!
Welcome to Beijing & neat that you already have tried some of our Running sessions!

Yes! Wouldn´t it be awesome to do some indoor running training? We want that too! So far we haven´t been able to get our hands&feet on an indoor location for running, but we are looking! If you or anyone who reads this have any suggestions, tips or connections our smiles will be even wider (Yeah, know what you think, is that even possible? Give us a locations-tip & you´ll see!)

We will continue doing Pop-up Running now & then, for all information about that follow our schedule that is published on the website every week, or sign-up for the monthly newsletter.

      Sport you out there!

    Sara

    • Hey Sara! The weekly schedule gets published here & the closest locations for you at the moment is either British School in Sanlitun or BCIS in CBD. As soon as it heats up outside we will be doing Heyrobics outdoors, for example in Chaoyang park during weekends, so keep a look out on the schedule for that!
      Keep Sportin´!

  19. Matthias says:

    Hey Heyrobics Team,

Can you add more sessions to the Lido Area or Liangmaqiao or even Sanyuanqiao?

Also most of your classes are in the beginning of the week Mo to Fri which if you are a working professional are mostly busy as it is the beginning of the week. “One of those Mondays”-Factor! Adding a few sessions towards the end of the week to more expat-heavy locations (mentioned above) would be a move in the right direction!

Don’t take it as critics – just a suggestion!

    Thanks a lot.

  20. Carmen says:
